Each Judge will take part in the judging process fully and will: Contribute knowledge, competence, and experience to assess all entries in their designated categories.
Along with the CGA Management Awards administration team, confirm that each entry satisfies the specified category criteria and, if necessary, reassign it to the appropriate category.
Disclose any conflicts of interest they may have with regard to applicants they are evaluating under the relevant categories.
If at all possible, make an appearance at the awards ceremony. It is crucial that our judges interact with the finalists, winners, guests, and sponsors.
AWARDS CEREMONY – SATURDAY, 30TH SEPTEMBER 2023
In order to ensure that this panel of experts and influencers brings a variety of information, expertise, and abilities that may be applied to the judging criteria and, eventually, to reward the finalists.
CGA values is being open and honest about the judging procedure and the judges' responsibilities.
The Chairmanwould arrange a meeting and ensure the role and rules are adhered to.
The Judges will be looking for evidence of clear and effective ways in which you share your successes and your story including information in the public domain.
Judges will read and pre-score all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. Judges will be asked to give a score for each nomination. These will be combined to give an overall score for each entry. All Judge’s pre-scores will then be combined, and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlists.
Judges will discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree the winner for each category. This may also involve virtually meeting shortlisted entrants and you will be notified if this is the case, to arrange a suitable interview time and date.
Only the Judges, and the Executive Administrator will see your entry(ies). Judges must agree to confidentiality prior to receiving your entry(ies).
Organisations and/or judges participating in the judging process are encouraged to enter the awards but will absent themselves from any discussion involving their nominee or themselves or organisation or any organisation in which they have an interest.
Entrants will be checked for accuracy and eligibility by the CGA administration team when the entries deadline closes.
Entries will be collated into their relevant categories.
The Judging Sessions provide time to review, assess and score each entry and narrow down those to shortlisted entries (finalists)
There may be some categories where Judges wish to carry out interviews (virtually) for the entrants to further support their decision-making process. You will be notified if this is the case soon after entries close.
By the end of Judging Sessions, each category may have a Winner.
The Winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony on 30th September 2023.
The Chairman of the Judges would arrange a meeting and ensure the role and rules are adhered to.

Judges will read and pre-score all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. Virtual meetings will allow the Judges time to work together and identify the finalists and winners.
They will have the opportunity to come together to discuss the merits of each entry ensuring a fair, thorough and robust process.
The independent Judge will ensure the process is fair and reflects CGA values and vision.
During the Judging Sessions, each Judge will present their thoughts and discuss the merits of each entry or nomination.
All Judges will come together to decide on the final shortlisted entries and winners for each category.
In the event of a tie, the Independent Judge Professor Rotimi Jaiyesimi, the Chairman of the Judges’ Rudi Page FRSA and the Executive Administrator will make a decision based on the evidence submitted. If there is still difficulty in reaching a resolution, Caribbean Global Hybrid Awards Sole Founder Michaelene Holder-March will make the final decision.
